IGP KP Mr.Salah-ud-din Khan Mehsud has said that protection of life, honour and property was prime responsibility of the Police.
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salah-ud-din Khan Mehsud has said that protection of life, honour and property was prime responsibility of the police and assured that every citizen would be provided peaceful atmosphere in the society.

He was addressing a 10-member delegation of Anjuman Tajaran Peshawar Cantt which called on him at CPO Peshawar today. The delegation was led by Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Arif Yusuf. The IGP informed the delegation that no society can achieve the zenith of progress without peace and tranquility in the society. He said that traders community was playing an important role in economic prosperity and development of the country and assured that every effort would be made for providing them peaceful atmosphere to carry out their economic activities.

Earlier, the members of the delegation briefed the IGP about the problems and difficulties being faced by them. They also presented some suggestions for it. The IGP welcomed their suggestions and assured solution of their confronting problems on priority bases. The members of the delegation expressed full confidence over the leadership of IGP and thanked for taking keen interest in solution of their problems. They also extended felicitation to the IGP on assuming the charge of his new responsibilities. The members of the delegation included Ghulam Hussain, Amin Hussain, Ghulam Bilal, Choudhery Shahid Ghafoor, Waqar Danyal, Qaiser Javed, Yusuf Ali, Sana Ullah and Hasnain Shiraz.
