IGP KP MR.Salah-ud-din Khan, visit to DI Khan and addressing to police Darbar.
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salahuddin Khan Mehsood has said that beside up-gradation of police scale police shuhadda package will also be generously enhanced very soon.

This, he said, while addressing a Police Darbar at Dera Ismail Khan police line today which was largely attended by every rank officer and jawan of different units and wings of D.I. Khan Region Police. Regional Police Officer D.I. Khan, DPO D.I. Khan, DPO Tank and other high ranking police officers were also present on this occasion. The Provincial Police Officer informed that there was hell of differences of today's and 10 year before police. Today we have specialized training institutions, technology, police officers and jawans enlisted on merit and above all public trust and we have to come up to the attached expectations of the general public at every cost. He said he was proud to command the force emerged successful in the war against terror added that the war against terror was still going on, we have to make our houses, streets and our children safe for which we have to give every scarifies and to further keep up high the spirit of martyrdom. He further went on to say that we are proud of police shuhadda and the problems of heirs of police shuhadda would be solved on priority basis. The IGP maintained that he was well aware of the needs and requirements of the force and police welfare expenditure had been increased two fold and directed the participants of the Darbar to fulfil their prime responsibility of protecting the rights of the people at all cost. The IGP pointed out that if the people do not feel secure then despite better law and order situation and more than 75% decrease in terrorism, all the achievements are meaningless added that the police have to bring more positive change in their behaviour. The IGP also referred to the Police Access Services (PAS) and disclosed that PAS would be made more service-oriented and public friendly in the coming month thus enabling the public to supervise the police and urged the participants to prepare yourselves for this change. The IGP directed the participants of the Darbar to go through the Police Act 2017 and prepare yourselves for answering before the public and public supervision. The IGP vowed that the journey of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police success will be kept continue and better policing would be ensured to every one.

In the Darbar the IGP awarded police officers and jawans who excelled against miscreants and out laws in line of duty during different police action from time to time.

The IGP also addressing the members of Dispute Resolution Councils D.I. Khan and elite of the area and appreciated their valuable services for the solution of petty disputes and issues of the community people. The IGP informed that keeping in view the trust of the people these councils would be further strengthened in the province.

The IGP also held a meeting with the heirs of D.I. Khan police shuhadda and briefed himself about their confronting problems and difficulties. The IGP said that police sacrificed their precious lives for the nation in line of duty and the welfare of the shuhadda families will be kept above on all things. The IGP also distributed gifts amongst heirs of police shuhadda and laid floral wreath on the D.I. Khan Yadgar-e-Shuhadda police.
