KP Police Tenants registration progress through computer (TIS) in the province

On the directives of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salahuddin Khan Mehsood the registration of houses under the Tenant Information System (TIS) is continued with full swing in the province and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has so far completed registration of 4,27,229 houses. 

          According to details Peshawar excelled by registering 225415 houeses followed by Abbottabad police with the figure of 38274 and DIKhan 24685 houses respectively. Similarly the registration of the houses completed by other districts included Mardan17887, Charsadda 5374, Nowshera 15784, Swabi 14690, Swat 17061, Buner 1292, Shangla 434, Dir Lower 1865, Dir Upper 565, Chitral 2912, Haripur 14707, Mansehra 14378, Battagram 728, Kohistan 113, Torghar 1, Kohat , Hangu 2056, Karak 2241, Bannu 6500, Lakki Marwat 1640 and Tank 1325.

          In the ongoing war against terrorism the Tenant Information System on the part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police is widely welcomed both at national and international level. One of the biggest benefit of the system is that complete data of the family of the new comer is entered into the police record at police station level and strict watch is being carried out on his/her daily activities and movement. This system is also proved a mile stone in smashing the terrorists dens, identity of suspects without putting the innocent general public in trouble and thus ultimately led to dwindle down of terrorism cases in the province.
