The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salahuddin Khan Mehsood today visited the residence of shaheed traffic police sergeant, Ajmeer at Nauguman where he condoled the sad demise and expressed deep grief and sorrow with the bereaved family.

As per details, two robbers after committing robbery were trying to flee on a motorcycle. The traffic police cop present on duty instantly chased the fleeing robbers in a rickshaw and after some distance over powered the robbers and arrested one of them. The arrested robber start scuffle with the traffic police official. Meanwhile, the other accomplice of the accused opened fire on Ajmeer due to which he became seriously injured. He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital. The IGP said that shaheed Ajmeer on the call of his duty put his life in extreme danger by pursuing the fleeing duly armed robbers and thus added a new chapter of professionalism and bravery to the rich history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police. The police chief informed that prompt and in-time courageous action of the jawan’s bespoke volume of best policing in which the traffic jawan beside regulating traffic hotly pursued the robbers after receiving the information. The IGP commended the espirit de corps of the shaheed Ajmeer and termed it bacon of light for other jawans of the force. The IGP offered fateha for the departed soul and prayed for granting courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
Later on, the IGP in Utmanzai Charsadda visited the residence of DSP Jauhar Shah to condole his death with the deceased family. It may be recalled that DSP Jauhar Shah had become seriously injured in a traffic incident in Charsadda the other day and was admitted in LRH Peshawar where he succumbed to his injuries. The IGP condoled the sad demise with the bereaved family and offered fateha for the departed soul. The IGP prayed to Al-Mighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the deceased family to bear this loss. On this the IGP paid glowing tributes to the meritorious police service of DSP Jauhar Shah by saying that his demise deprived the police force of a competent and professional police officer and the vacuum thus created will take long to be filled. The IGP also assured full police support to the bereaved family and directed police high ups present on the occasion to arrange meeting with the heirs of the deceased and solve their confronting problems.
