IGP KP Nasir Khan Durrani, visited Lady Reading Hospital (LRH)
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani visited Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar today where he enquired after the health of those injured in the Yesterday terrorist attack at a court in the Shabqadar Town of Charsadda district.

On arrival to the hospital the IGP straight went to the beds of injured police constable Abdul Mabood and other injured citizen of the blast Asif, Aftab Hussain and Fazal Said at Orthopedic ward. The IGP enquired after the health of the police jawan and other injured and briefed himself from doctors about their injures and the treatment so far provided to them. The police chief paid towering tributes to the valour and courage exhibited by the injured constable and citizen against the terrorists. On this occasion when the IGP said we will win this war with the help of the general public. On this the injured and confident looking citizen Aftab Hussain replied ''Sir we had already won this war.'' While talking to the mediamen present on the occasion the IGP said that the nation, however the police jawans particularly the head constable Mian Naseem Ullah Khan and constable Muhammad Yamin become stumbling block in the way of suicide attacker. On stopping the suicide bomber by head constable the former opened fire on the later while the injured constable Muhammad Yamin pursued and got hold of the suicide on which the suicider blast himself. The IGP further went on to say that if the suicide bomber succeeded in entering the avenue of the court or come back to bazar then the destruction would have been much more higher. The IGP said that Prime Minister and Chief of the Army Staff appreciated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa performance in Yesterday incident which was a great source of inspiration and morale boosting for the whole force. To a question the IGP informed that 99.5 percent calls are being received from across the border, Afghanistan, and this fact has been brought into the notice of Ambassador's recent visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by providing all call numbers to him and he has assured stern action against the extortionists operating from the Afghan soil. The IGP further added that local extortionists had completely been wiped and in last two, three months no such call had been received to any person. Moreover the extortionists operating from settled areas are either in lock up or in jail. The IGP said that war against terrorist was not a conventional warfare, the frustrated terrorists was targetting soft targets, however the IGP vowed that they will be eliminated with full and active support of the general public. The IGP also presented bouquet of flowers and sweet to the injured constable and citizen and directed the doctors to ensure all best medical treatment to them.
