Pildat appreciates KPK police achievements
The Inspector General of Police Nasir Khan Durrani has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is fighting war at two fronts. On the one side, the KP police is engaged in the war against the militants and miscreants to thwart their nefarious and sinister designs; dismantle their safe bastions and protect the innocent civilians.

On the other side, the KP police has to face a hypocrite enemy who in the garb of a friend is, first, creating fear in the minds of the public about the militants instead of encouraging and preparing them to meet the challenge and, second, it is creating confusion about the capacity of those fighting the war on terror in an unflinching manner. The IGP, while further elaborating, said “KP police is willing to face the bullets but will not tolerate insults and abuse. As a commander, I am responsible to protect and maintain their honour.”

The IGP praising the sacrifices rendered by the KP police in general and the elite force in particular, said that KP Elite Force and Special Combat Unit is one of the best counter-terrorism forces – a fact recognized by the International Trainers. The IGP urged the Provincial Government to extend moral, logistic and financial support to the KP police.

The IGP further said, “The capacity building and professional growth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has been deemed as a hallmark of the government. The professional competence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has been publicly acknowledged by all segments of society”. The IGP further elaborated that ''Pildat'' in its recent report about better law and order has kept Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the top of the list which is an ample proof of the success and achievements of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police and the whole province should feel proud on it.
