IGP awarded Abbottabad Traffic Constable
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police force has no parallel in bravery and honesty.

This he said while addressing an award distribution ceremony held at CPO Peshawar today which was arranged in honour of Traffic Warden Aqil Ahmad Jadoon who had found a ladies purse from the Shaheen chowk Abbottabad during his duty in the morning. The purse containing gold jewellery, Rs. 13000, a mobile set and other valuables. The traffic warden redialed the last dialed number from the long list of the women's mobile set. He succeeded in founding the number of one relative of the woman who had lost the purse. Traffic warden went to the house of the woman and handed over all the belongings. All the family numbers of the women and neighborhood highly appreciated the honesty of the warden in particular and the whole force in general. Addressing the ceremony the police chief said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police was most courageous and honest force of the country and its jawan had practically demonstrated it from time to time in line of duty. He showered towering tributes to the honesty and integrity of the said traffic warden by saying that it was a big trial and test for the warden in which God emerged him victorious which bespoke volume of his strong faith, honesty, integrity and professionalism. He further informed that Aqeel Ahmad has added another feather in the rich cap of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police this time in context of honesty and thus make not only the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police but the entire people of the province proud on it. The IGP informed that he had full confident that Allah Al-mighty will definitely bestow the warden more than what he had returned to the woman. He gave a full hug to the warden and termed him a role model for the rest of the police of the force. On this occasion the IGP awarded the Traffic warden with cash award of Rs. 10000 and commendation certificate.
