Election Commission of Pakistan has expressed sincere gratitude to the KPK Police
The Election Commission of Pakistan has expressed sincere gratitude to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police for its untiring and matchless efforts in conducting local govt By-election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 21 February 2016 in a peaceful and successful manner.

In a D.O letter No. F. 29(1)2015-LG-KPK (Vol-1) addressed to Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani it reads that "monitoring teams of the Election Commission of Pakistan deployed on the bye-election event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 21th February 2016 have reported that sufficient police force was deployed at the polling stations as per commitment made in the arrangements review meeting". The letter further added that moreover, effective coordination of the KP police force with rest of the law enforcement agencies and subsequent security plan resulted in providing conducive environment to the voters.

The commission expressed sincere gratitude to the IGP and his team for assisting the Election of Pakistan in peaceful and successful conduct of local bodies by elections and hoped that they would continue to work with same service-oriented zeal and proactive initiative based on professional acumen and satisfaction of the general public and will bring more laurels for the police force in future.
