SHO Police Station Jungle Khel removed from service
The Inspector General of Police, Nasir Khan Durrani has removed from service the Inspector Ghulam Murtaza, SHO Police Station Jungle Khel on account of harassing an Afghan woman.

It was reported by an Afghan citizen residing in Refugee Camp of Ghamkol that the Inspector Ghulam Murtaza, SHO Police Station Jungle Khel has detained his sister in illegal confinement and harassed her. On receipt of the report, the IGP immediately ordered the inquiry to be conducted by three different agencies including the concerned DPO.

During the inquiry proceedings it was came to light that the said Inspector detained the said Afghan woman along with a boy in illegal custody and later on took them to a graveyard where he tried to molest and harass her forcefully. Consequently, in the light of the findings of the inquiry the Inspector Ghulam Murtaza has been dismissed from service.
