IGP KP Nasir Khan Durrani, suspended three SHOs
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani has suspended three SHOs and one Addl: SHO of Bannu Region on charges of corruption, bad reputation and links with criminals with immediate effect and further ordered departmental inquiry against them while an investigation officer of police station Oach Lower Dir was reverted from inspector to sub inspector on faulty investigation.

According to details the IGP was continuously receiving public complaints about the corruption, bad reputation, smuggling of NCP vehicles and links with criminals against SHO police station Miryan (Bannu) Sub Inspector Bashir, SHO police station City (Lakki) Sub Inspector Gul Hameed, SHO police station Tajori (Lakki) Sub Inspector Ayaz Khan and Addl: SHO police station Miryan (Bannu) Sub Inspector Allah Nawaz. The IGP constituted a special team to probe into the allegations and submit him a comprehensive report. The special team thoroughly probed the allegations and submitted a detailed report wherein it was substantiated that the above SHOs are in league with the criminals of the area and are involved in corrupt practices such as taking bhatta from criminals, gamblers, smugglers of NCP vehicles and Hundi dealers. The IGP in light of the report of the special team suspended the above 3 SHOs and one additional SHO with immediate effect and further ordered departmental inquiry against them.

Similarly the IGP also reverted an investigation officer of police station Oach Lower Dir Inspector Fazle Mabood to the rank of sub inspector on charges of faulty investigation in a murder case which proved in an inquiry report ordered by IGP against him.
