IGP KP Nasir Khan Durrani arranged a farewel party in honour of the three outgoing DIGs at CPO Peshawar
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani arranged a farewel party in honour of the three outgoing DIGs at CPO Peshawar today.

Additional IGPs Headquarters, Operations, Investigation, CCPO Peshawar, all DIGs and AIGs in CPO and other high ranking officers largely attended the party. Addressing on the occasion the IGP paid rich tributes to the professional meriterous services rendered by the outgoing DIGs in their respective units and termed it a source of inspiration and beacon of light for other officers of the force. The IGP added that with the best combination of heart and mind they added new feathers in the rich cap of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police and termed them best police officers of the future having best leadership qualities and wish them all success in their rest of professional career. On this occasion all the outgoing DIGs in their speeches highly praised the bravery and sacrifices offered by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in the ongoing war against terrorists. They also termed the leadership of the IGP as a wonderful experience and historical by saying the things and excellent policing which they have learned from him will go a long way in the rest of their professional career. The IGP presented police shields and souvenirs to the outgoing DIGs as a memento. It may be recalled that the services of DIG Malakand Azad Khan has been placed at the disposal of Sindh govt while Commandant PTC Hangu Arshraf Noor has been transferred to Frontier Constabulary and DIG Enquiry and Inspection Abdul Ghafoor to the National Highway Authority.
