IGP awarded police jawan on best humanitarian services
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani awarded Kohat and Hangu police jawans on excellent humanitarian services extended to two kids in a ceremony held at CPO Peshawar today.

According to detail constable Tariq Aziz of Hangu district was on special duty on 8th Muharram in Hangu. He saw a child namely Naveed Rehman s/o Adam khan R/O Orakzai Agency presently kando kily Hangu. The disabled child was very thirsty and was continuously calling for water. Tariq Aziz took care of the child and drunk him water. The child was unable to go home due to his disability. Constable carried the child to house and handed over to his parents. A man sitting in nearby a shop took snap shot of the constable with the retarded child and uploaded the picture on the social media. Many persons across section of the society appreciated the good well gesture of the constable and termed him proud of the KP police. Similarly in another humanitarian incident a traffic Head Constable Qasim Khan of Kohat found a seven years old child (girl) during his duty at Kohat city. In order to find out the real heirs of the child (girl) he made announcement on loud speakers from different Mosque in Kohat city as well as informed the Rescue 15. However no clue was fond about the parents of the missing girl. After duty hour he took the girl child to his home and upload a message along with photo of the girl on social media "Beautiful Kohat". The group friends of Beautiful Kohat spread this message across the country within no time. The parents of the child residing near Kohat collage Pindi Road recognised their daughter through picture and message on social media. At midnight they rushed to Kohat Rescue 15 where the traffic Head Constable reached along with the child and handed over to her parents. Particularly the people of Kohat impressed so much from the humanitarian spirit of the traffic Head Constable that they termed it real humanitarian service of the KP police and prayed for similar happiness in traffic head constable life which he brought to the parents of the girl. The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani called both the police jawans to Central Police Office Peshawar today where they were awarded with special cash prizes and commendation certificates. Addressing on the occasion the IGP held in high esteem the humanitarian services provided by both the police jawan to small needy kids by saying that police can earn good name for the force through Awami policing by demonstrating good behavior.
