Acting IGP KP Syed Akhtar Ali Shah today visited KTH
The Acting Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Syed Akhtar Ali Shah today visited Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar where he enquired after the health of constable injured last night in a terrorist attack at Tehkal.

On arrival to the hospital the Acting IGP straight went to the bed of injured constable Muslim Khan in emergency ward. He briefed himself from the constable about the injuries and the treatment so far provided to him. It may be recalled that last night two terrorist on motor cycle opened fire on the police patrolling mobile at Tehkal due to which head constable martyred on the spot while the constable got four bullet injuries. However the injured constable retaliated the fire and killed one terrorist on the spot while the other fled from the scence in injured condition by taking advantage of darkness. The Acting IGP paid rich tributes to the gallantry act of the injured constable and declared him pride of the force. He also announced to send his name with recommendation to the govt for awarding highest bravery award. He also directed the doctors present on the occasion to take special care of the injured constable as he is the real asset and pride of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police and ensure provision of all medical facilities well in time.

CCPO Muhammad Tahir Khan and other high ranking police officers accompanied the Acting IGP on this occasion.
