Acting IGP KP Syed Akhtar Ali Shah, awarded Peshawar Police
The Acting Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Syed Akhtar Ali Shah has said that police jawan who exhibited excellent performance in line of duty against hardened criminals would be awarded generously.

This, he said, while addressing a cash and certificate distribution ceremony held at CPO Peshawar today which had been arranged in honour of police officials who killed a notorious dacoit Zabikh Ullah in an encounter took place at Ghari Atta Muhammad the other day. It may be recalled that Zabikh Ullah was wanted to different police stations of Peshawar in various cases of dacoity and robbery. He has also seriously injured a citizen during a dacoity on resistance. In the said encounter looted jewellery of 10 tola, 2 mobile phones, two precious watch, one lakh rupees and a Kalashnikov were recovered from his possession. Due to continuous robbery and dacoity cases in Peshawar he had made the life of the general public miserable. The people took sigh of relief and appreciated the police party performance. Addressing the ceremony the Acting IGP lauded the bravery and courageous performance of the police party in the encounter by saying that they had added another feather in the rich cap of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police. He directed the awardees to further pull up their sleeves against hardened criminals and bring them to book at all cost. The Acting IGP awarded DSP Suburb Fazle Wahid, SHO Police Station Bhana Mari Abdul Ali and gunners of DSP and SHO with cash prizes and commendation certificates.
