A delegation of Industrialist Association of Peshawar met with IGP KP
A delegation of Industrialist Association Peshawar called on the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at CPO Peshawar today. Zahir Khattak, Malik Imran and other members included in the delegation. The members of the delegation paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in line of duty against the terrorists. They recalled that the traders community and industrialist were shifting their business to other provinces a few years ago due to unabated incidents of terrorism in the province but now thanks to Al-Mighty Allah and unparalleled sacrifices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police that the industrialists were coming back and were investing their hard earn money in the province which was an ample proof of prevailing better law and order situation. The members of the delegation demanded of establishing a separate police station in the Industrial Estate and also informed the IGP about the traffic problems confronting to the industrialist. While talking to the delegationists, the IGP dwelt at length about the force strategy in combating terrorism and sacrifices rendered by the jawans for safe guarding the nation. The IGP further informed that due to day night strenuous efforts and best strategy of the police, extortions cases dwindled down to 84% while other crimes were also declying to a great extent. The IGP assured the members of the delegation that all their genuine problems would be solved on priority basis and for this purpose a comprehensive strategy would be adopted with due consultation of traders community and police force. The members of the delegation thanked the IGP for giving patient hearing to their problems and assured their full support to the police for maintenance of law and order in the province.
