Directives of IGP Salahuddin Khan Mehsood regarding halt the menace of Terrorism in the last 10 day of Ramadan
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salah-ud-Din Khan Mehsood has directed police high ups to rise to the occasion by further intensifying their efforts and ensure an effective halt to the menace of terrorism during the last 10 days of Ramadan. These directives were given to all Regional Police Officers and District Police Officers in a special circular issued from CPO today. They have been reminded in the circular that every rank jawan and officer rendered matchless sacrifices in line of duty against terrorists and restored much needed peace in the society. The circular further read that these sacrifices enhanced the image of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police which must be maintained in every circumstances at all cost. It further said that during the sacred month of Ramadan police remained fully alert and performing its duty round the clock as per attached expectations of the general public. They have also been reminded in the circular that they should not forget the heirs of police martyrs particularly on 27th Ramadan and on Eid occasion. The police officers have been directed to personally visit the door steps of police martyrs along with Eid gifts in their respective jurisdiction so that they could not feel alone during Eid celebrations. Similarly, they have also been directed to visit of injured police jawans and distribute Eid gifts amongst them. They have also been directed to rejunovate their commitment against combating terrorism and establishing the writ of the govt and resolving to serve the people to the best of their capabilities by offering more sacrifices in line of duty. It has been hoped in the circular that the police will perform its duty as a team and will ensure exemplary peace in the society.
