IGP KP visited DIKhan, addressed police darbar etc
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Tahir visited Dera Ismail Khan today. On arrival a smart contingent of police presented guard of honour to him. After that, the IGP, visited Yadgar Shuhaddda Dera police and laid floral wreath and offered Fateha for the departed soul. The IGP also addressed a police Darbar which was participated by DIG Dera, DPOs Dera and Tank and other all ranks police officers and jawans. Addressing the participants of the Darbar the IGP said that he was proud commander of a proud and courageous force. He informed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police was the most courageous and efficient force of the country and was bravely fighting terrorism for the last several years and the sacrifices offered by the officers and jawans have no parallel in the whole world. The IGP further informed that DI Khan police was fighting the war against terror as a front line force and have offered most sacrifices in it and hoped that they will offer more sacrifices for safety of the people and maintenance of law and order. The IGP revealed that very soon a police public school would be established in DI Khan in which Children of police would be imparted quality education. He also announced that financial package would be further increased for police officers and jawans who got injured while fighting terrorism. Similarly, more police welfare projects are under consideration which will be completed on priority basis so as to further improve the performance of the police. On this occasion, the IGP also distributed cash prizes and commendation certificates amongst the police officers and jawans who excelled against the outlaws in the field. Later on, the IGP also visited DRC Dera and met with its members. Chairman of the DRC briefed the IGP about the performance of DRC. The IGP appreciated the outstanding performance of the DRC and thanked its member for their untiring efforts. Later on the IGP also attended a briefing on security plan for the general election 2018 in Dera Region at DIG Dera office. Where he was briefed in detail about the election security plan. The IGP expressed satisfaction over the security plan and hoped that in both districts of the region, election process would be completed in a smooth manner. The IGP also directed Dera police high ups to further expedite their efforts and make fool proof security for the general election.
