Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has launched Police Security Clearance Form
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has launched Police Security Clearance Form with the objective to carry out security clearance of all Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police personnel from BS-1 to BS-17 (both executive and ministerial staff) and avert any un-warranted situation.

As per details, due to ongoing war against terror, security clearance of police personnel had become of vital importance. To achieve this goal Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police developed a special software under which a police security clearance form covering all details about police official was prepared. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has so far computerized data of 75238 of its employee under the new system duly prepared and endorsed by supervisor officer at district level. The detail breakup of the data is: Peshawar police computerized 18328, Swat 7818, Mardan 4818, DIKhan 4082, Dir Lower 3865, Charsadda 3668, Bannu 3240, Kohat 2737, Abbottabad 2487, Buner 2408, Chitral 2065, Dir Upper 2049, Shangal 1981, Nowshera 1931, Swabi 1727, Mansehra 1669, Hangu 1313, Haripur 1091, Karak 1048, Lakki Marwat 953, Malakand 886, Tank 874, Upper Kohistan 775, Tor Ghar 706 and Battagram 536 in the centralized database. Police Security Clearance Form inscribed with all information about the police employee i.e name, father’s name, photo, address, CNIC No., passport No., mobile No., date of birth, date of enlistment, training record, educational qualification, posting details, punishment, criminal record, family background, affiliation with banned militant organizations. Each employee will be issued a centralized uniform standard police card after compilation of all information complete in all respect and duly verified by the supervisory police officer. The card, to be issued, will help the police force on spot identification of police personnel by using Hand Held Units (HHUs), attendance of police personnel and online verification during entry at any police installations. The other benefits to be brought under the new system are transparent/merit in postings/transfers, promotions, trainings, punishment/record as well as providing information about rank wise vacancy position, filled posts, vacant posts, retirements and details about police welfare’s loans, stipends and recoveries made. The new system will usher a new era of transparent policing in the province.
