Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi visits residence of late DIG Muhammad Yameen Khan today to offer fateha for the departed soul.
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi visited the residence of late Deputy Inspector General of Police Muhammad Yameen Khan today where he expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise with members of the bereaved family and offered fateha for the departed soul. Regional Police officer Malakand Abdul Ghafoor Afridi and DPO Swat Dilawar Bangash also accompanied the IGP on this occasion. The IGP prayed to Al-Mighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the members of the deceased family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude. The IGP Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi paid glowing tributes to the services of late Muhammad Yameen Khan by saying that late Muhammad Yameen was a thoroughly professional, brave and hardworking police officer. He preformed his duty on every post as per attached expectations in a very professional and dignified manner. The IGP informed that after his departure the police force was deprived of a very brave and committed police officer and the vacuum thus created would be hardly filled. The IGP maintained that the valuable services rendered by late Muhammad Yameen Khan for the police force would be remembered for a long time.
Late Muhammad Yameen Khan was born in 1962. After completion of his education he joined police service as DSP and during his 30 years of service he performed duty on various posts which included DSP Hqrs Charsadda, SDPO Charsadda, DSP FRP Swat, SDPO Tangi Charsadda, DSP Hqrs Mardan, DSP Special Branch, SDPO Ghazi Haripur, DPO Swat (twice), DPO Lower Dir, DPO Battgram, DPO Mansehra, DPO Lakki, DPO Mardan (twice) DPO Nowshera, SP Hqrs Peshawar, SP investigation Charsadda, SP Investigation Peshawar, SP CTD Peshawar, SSP Investigation KPK, SSP Coordination Peshawar, Director Anti-Corruption, DIG Hqrs CPO, DIG Enquiry CPO, DIG operations CPO and DIG Investigation Bannu. In the year 2016 he was transferred to Balochistan province and after performing services there for a 3 years he was transferred back to KP and posted as DIG traffic KPK and DIG crimes and investigation KP.
He also remained part of various National and International missions. In the year 2005 earthquake he was posted at that time as DPO Mansehra and he took active part in earth quake rehabilitation activities on which he was awarded by the govt.
