The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi awarded Mansehra Police team on excellent policing by unearthing and arresting the dacoits and recovering the looted money from them in a ceremony held at CPO Peshawar today. According to details a few days ago a complainant Salahuddin Khan s/o Shah Nawaz Khan r/o Humsherain PS Khaki had reported to the police that during night time some unknown accused entered into his house and looted gold ornaments 153 tola and net cash amounting to Rs. 8 Lacks including double cabin Toyota vehicle forcibly on gun point and fled away in darkness. In another incident of dacoity a complainant Fahad Ali s/o Shafiq-ur-Rahman r/o Ghazikot Township PS City had reported to the police that during mid night some unknown accused entered into his house and looted gold ornaments about 20 tola, net cash amounting to Rs. 5 Lacks and 4000 US Dollars forcibly on gun point. In order to work out these cases a special investigation team was constituted. The team efficiently worked and traced out the unknown Afghanistan based gang with recovery of all stolen property. The culprits of Afghanistan based gang entered in Pakistan from Afghanistan and after committing dacoities in different cities and returned back to Afghanistan. The gang also confessed 3 more dacoities cases occurred in Mansehra district. Addressing on the occasion the IGP Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi appreciated the excellent performance of the special investigation team in the above mentioned cases and directed them to make best use of the latest equipment introduced in KP force. The IGP directed the awardees to accept every case as a challenge and leave no stone unturn for working out it. The IGP awarded the police team i.e DPO Mansehra Asif Bahadar, SP Investigation Mansehra Janas Khan, Investigation Incharge Riaz Shah, SHO Khaki Sub Inspector Muhammad Nawaz, CTD Mardan Assistant Sub Inspector Asif Khan, Junior Clerk Sadam Farooq, Head Constables Sajjad Ahmad, Azam Khan, Faisal, Ihtesham Shah and Constable Azhar Hussain with cash prizes and commendation certificates. DIG Headquarters and PSO to IGP were also present on this occasion.  |
