Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi awards Police officers and jawans of district Kohat and PTC Hangu for exhibiting extraordinary performance at PTC Hangu.
Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi visited district Hangu. On arrival at Police Training College Hangu, Commandant PTC Hangu Dr. Fasihuddin Ashraf, RPO Kohat Muhammad Zafar Ali, DPO Kohat, DPO Hangu and other senior police officials welcomed the IGP.
A prestigious awards ceremony was held at PTC Hangu, in which PTC Hangu and Kohat police officers and jawans were awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates for their outstanding performance.
The IGP awarded PTC Hangu training staff on imparting best training to the trainees in the different in-service courses while Kohat police officers and jawans were awarded on working out Hareem Fatima blind murder case in a professional manner and arresting the real culprits involved in the gruesome murder.
Addressing on the occasion the IGP Dr Sanaullah Abbasi commended the training standard being imparted in PTC Hangu for the last one century. The IGP also appreciated the continuous day and night hard work of training staff added that this historic training institution had produced many well reputed police officers who later on served the country to the best of their capabilities on different posts. The IGP informed that keeping the hallmark achievement of this august institution in the field of training the institution would be given the status of university very soon. While referring to the performance of Kohat police the IGP said that they have worked out the challenging case of Hareem Fatima in the best professional manner which speaks volume of the investigation skills and knack of the police team. The IGP said that police was the custodian of the basic human rights and KP police was discharging its duty on the face of numerous challenges in a best manner as a front line force. The IGP congratulated the awardees and hoped that they will make best use of their Mattle in future too and will excel in their respective fields.
The IGP said that the officers and jawans of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police are performing beyond the call of duty and are fighting as a frontline force against COVID-19 to protect the lives of the people. The IGP vowed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police is ready to fight against all challenges and said that no sacrifice would be spared in defeating Corona.
