Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi hands over keys of recovered stolen vehicles to their real owners in a ceremony held at Police Lines district Khyber, today.
The Inspector General of police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi visited Khyber District police lines today. On arrival to district Khyber he was warmly received by CCPO Peshawar, DPO Khyber and high ranking police officers.
On this occasion a simple but an impressive ceremony was arranged to hand over keys of recovered stolen vehicles to their real owners. In the ceremony the IGP awarded police officers and jawans in recognition of their meritorious services of Khyber police who recovered 57 stolen vehicle in different police raids in the last 3 months. The IGP awarded the Khyber police officers and jawans with cash prizes and commendation certificates.
Addressing on occasion the IGP Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi termed the Khyber police performance and achievement as far excellent by saying that Khyber police have created a new history by recovering a huge number of vehicles in only 3 months which has no precedence in the past. The IGP further went on to say that recovery of 15 years old stolen vehicles lifted from different parts of the country in which the chassis numbers of many had been changed bespoke volume of the excellent policing and performance of Khyber police Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC). The IGP said that the team effort and work of police had made the impossible to possible and termed this performance to be emulated by the rest of the police. The IGP informed that the NMDs police are discharging its duties as per attached expectations of the general public and providing and ensuring due rights to the real deserving people and dispensation of justice to the oppressed and depressed sections of the society at their door steps. The IGP announced that Anti Car Lifting Cells would be replicated in the rest of the district of the province so as to ensure recovery of lifted and stolen vehicles there too. The IGP handed over the keys of 57 stolen vehicles to its real owners. In the function the IGP also awarded officers and jawans of police Training Directorate and Khyber police on excellent performance in their respective fields.
