SHO Hashtnagri Dismissed
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani has dismissed from service SHO police station Hashtnagri on charges of false FIR against innocent citizen and investigation officer on poor and unfair investigation with immediate effect.

According to details a citizen of Peshawar has submitted an application to the IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which he alleged that SHO police station Hashtnagri Inspector Rehmat Ullah illegally raided has shop and registered a false case against him and also forcibly took Rs. 50000/- and precious items from his shop as well as threatened of registering terrorism cases against him and his son if Rs 3 lac more was not paid to him. The citizen has also complained in the application against the investigation officer of deliberately unfair investigation in the case. The IGP enquired the allegations of the citizen through DIG Enquiry and Inspection who in his finding report substantiated the allegations of the citizen and also recommended awarding major punishment to both the guilty police officers. The IGP in light of the recommendations of DIG Enquiry and Inspections dismissed both the officers i.e SHO police station Hashtnagri Inspector Rehmat Ullah and Investigation officer Sub Inspector Imranuddin from service with immediate effect.
