IGP KP Nasir Khan Durrani, awarded Buner police jawans
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani awarded Buner police officers and jawans on arresting three wanted terrorists carrying head bounty rupees one million each in a ceremony held at CPO Peshawar today.

According to details Buner police in an action had arrested three wanted terrorists namely Badshah Hussain, Farman and Imran belonging to Upper Dir while entering into Buner district via Kingar Gali early morning. They intended to carry out terrorist activities in Buner district. They were wanted to law enforcement agencies on attacking the police station and killed one police official in 2009. They also attacked the Gandigar police station and injured 4 police officials back in 2009. The Buner police on their pointation recovered 4 IED,s each having 15/15 kg, 205 kg explosive, one LMG alongwith sixteen rounds, three Kalashnikovs and 4 shells of RPG. The arrested militants were carrying head money one million each. They had got training in the Taliban Training Center in Bajwar Agency and Upper Dir. Addressing on the occasion the IGP Nasir Khan Durrani appreciated the outstanding performance of the police party in the case by saying that excellent policing in the district was due to sheer hard work and professional commitment of the jawans and added that intime action of the jawans had averted huge catastrophic in the district. The IGP added that continues success of the Buner police against terrorists had added another feather in the rich cap of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police and urged the force jawans to emulate the excellent performance of Buner police. On this occasion the IGP awarded Circle Officer Pir Baba SDPO Farman Ullah, SHO PS Jowar Sub Inspector Hussain Zada Khan, Constables Lalzamin, Sher Wali, Noor Malok, Mumtaz Rahim, SPO Said Johar and Driver Muslim with cash prizes and commendation certificates.

Principal Staff Officer to IGP Muhammad Afzal was also present on this occasion.
