IGP visit various places of Peshawar and LRH
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani today paid a surprise visit to the forward posts of Peshawar adjoining the tribal belt. Chief Capital City Police Peshawar and SSP operation Peshawar also accompanied the IGP on this occasion.
The IGP visited the police post Jani Khwar, police post Frontier Road and Zangali police post. The IGP also inspected the working of police nakabandis particularly the IT gadgets provided to the police personnel deployed on various nakabandis for effective checking of vehicular movement and to prevent the ingress of illegal immigrants and other suspects He monitored the live working of Vehicle Verification System and Identity Verification System. The IGP met on these police posts with the police officials performing duty there. The IGP expressed satisfaction over the duty of the officials and termed them the real heroes and true asset of the force fighting from the front. The IGP directed the concerned police high ups to ensure early provision of all basic facilities to the personnel. The IGP also awarded the jawans with cash prizes founding them alert on duty point and ready to meet any eventuality.
Later on the IGP visited Lady Reading hospital Peshawar where he inquired after he health of the injured police officials and civilian who got injured in the Mathra IED's lasts. The IGP straight went to the beds of each and every injured and inquired after their health and the treatment so for provided to them. The IGP directed the doctors present on the occasion to take special care and ensure provision of best medical treatment to them in time. While talking to the media men on the occasion the IGP said that the operations against terrorist will continue unabated added that it was a collective war and we all have to fight against the terrorist. The IGP further added that very soon a scheme will be introduced under which the public will share information with the high ups of CTD and other concerned police officer about the miscreants and their activities. The IGP said that the name of the information provider will be kept secret and will be generously awarded. To another question the IGP said that the crime ratio of the last year was the lowest as compared to the previous five years and during the current year 30 percent decreased in the crime had been witnessed so far and vowed that the war against terrorist will be kept continue till the elimination of the last terrorist.
