Out going Corps Commander Lt General Hidayat-Ur-Rehman paid a farewell visit to Central Police
The out going Corps Commander Lt General Hidayat-Ur-Rehman paid a farewell visit to Central Police Office today. on arrival to Central Police Office Peshawar he was received by Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani. He placed the floral wreath on the monument of police shuhadda in Central Police Office. Later on he went to Police Access Service (PAS) where he was briefed about the newly introduced complaint management system of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police by DIG Headquarters. He also visited the newly Data Analysing Section (DAS) through which an effective data base has been created for planning and monitoring police activities. On this occasion the IGP eulogised the excellent working relationship developed by the out going Corps Commander between police and army. The IGP appreciated the success of operation Zarb-e-Azab and informed that due to effective intelligence sharing and meticulous police planning more than 1200 hard core militants who fled the tribal area in the wake of Army operation Zarbe-Azab were arrested by police thereby denying any base to them in the settled area and ensuring long term peace. on this occasion the out going corps Commander Lt General Hidayat-Ur-Rehman appreciated the sacrifices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in the war against terror and the endeavours of the incumbent IGP Nasir Khan Durrani for organising police on professional lines. He categorised Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police as the most forward looking and responsive force of the country and ensured long term support of Pak Army to KP police.

Later on, the IGP Nasir Khan Durrani presented Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police Souvenir to the out going Commander and set of books of various strategic initiatives of KP police. In the end the out going Corps Commander had a group photo with the senior police officers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
