IGP KP Mr.Nasir Khan Durrani, visit to Mardan region and addressing to Police Darbar
The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani today visited Mardan Region where he addressed a police Darbar and chaired a meeting of local elders and elected representatives.

The police darbar was attended by every rank officers and jawans of Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera and Charsadda district. The IGP while addressing the darbar said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police due to its valour and respect for citizen has now been acclaimed widely. It is a matter of great honour to be the IGP of such a force which has proved its mettle both in thick and thin, the IGP added. He said that the reforms introduced by him during the last three and half years meant to capacitate force and bring the police closer to the general public. He thanked all the police officials who not only readily accepted the new reforms but also worked day and night to make it a success. He urged the police officials to adopt good attitude towards public and extend all possible legal help to earn their good well. He further elaborated that support of the public to police will work as a deciding factor in war against terror and would help police defeat the militants. On this occasion the IGP distributed cash award and commendation certificates amongst the police officers and jawan who excelled against the terrorists and hard core criminals in line of duty. Later, on the IGP also visited Charsadda district where he inaugurated the newly constructed building of Police Assistance Lines (PAL). Speaking on the occasion he said the new facility will facilitate general public to avail police services in a conducive environment.
